Product Description

Bentonite for casting is a non-metallic mineral product mainly composed of montmorillonite, and is the most widely used binder in green sand casting. Our products have undergone precise selection and modification (sodium treatment), possessing excellent adhesion, thermal stability, and reusability, significantly improving the surface smoothness of castings and reducing scrap rates.

1.High Wet Compressive Strength:At a lower addition amount, sufficient wet strength can be provided to ensure that the sand mold does not deform during transportation and boxing.

2.Excellent Thermal Stability:Under the pouring of high-temperature molten metal, the adhesive film is less likely to fail, effectively preventing defects such as sand flushing and sand inclusion in castings.

3.Superior Durability/Resusability:It has a low rate of "dead clay" formation and a high sand mold reuse rate, significantly reducing the per-unit consumption of bentonite.

4.Breathability & Easy Shake-out:A proper particle size distribution ensures the sand mold's permeability, allowing it to collapse easily after pouring and facilitating the cleaning of the casting surface.
